Marketing Manager & Coordinator

OVERVIEW

R&S Manufacturing and Sales is seeking a Marketing Manager to spearhead our lead generation efforts. This role will also be responsible for working with Sales to develop marketing collateral for trade shows and Manufacturer’s National Sales Meetings. The right candidate will feel comfortable interacting / directing agency work including email marketing, web promotion (SEO and SEM), website enhancements, press releases and other similar marketing functions.

This position will evolve over time as we work to identify efforts that yield the highest ROI. This position reports to the company President.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Goal Tracking (General ROI Analysis)
  • Understanding company performance targets associated with these campaigns and how to measure and track success.
  • Use performance data to modify strategy and develop new initiatives to promote company growth.
  • Hold agencies accountable to performance targets.

• Website SEO and SEM
  • Work with our Website Marketing Agency to drive SEO. This includes managing the content calendar, creating topic clusters, overseeing development of relevant content and implementation of these strategies.
  • Ability to understand and articulate ROI for the programs and use this data to manage programs to their highest potential.
  • Most of this work will be in collaboration with hired agencies; but overall strategy, idea generation and coordination will be the responsibility of the Marketing Manager. High-level strategy developed via internal and external collaboration.
  • Future initiatives to include Pay-Per-Click, advertising, and other lead generation programs to support company performance goals.

• Coordination of Website Enhancements
  • Build out and manage our website roadmap for new features and functionality. This will include user experience, website content for SEO, managing submittal documents available on the site and deploying new features such as ecommerce and a customer login portal.
  • Work with agency to ensure site is running clean with continuous focus on site load times, error tracking and bug fixes.
  • Ensure that mobile and tablet versions of our website perform to the same standard as the desktop version (responsive).

• Email Marketing Programs
  • Manage Email Marketing Agency to drive newsletter and special offer campaigns to our active email list.
  • Deploy drip campaigns for new email enrollments and sales follow-up campaigns (marketing / sales automation).
  • Create and implement strategies to increase email subscription lists.
  • Develop editorial content for newsletters and other email messaging.

• Sales Support

• • Develop / update marketing collateral including product brochures, sales sheets, and product binders (submittals, product data sheets).
  • Marketing materials for tradeshows and metal building manufacturer’s national sales meetings.
  • Lead contact for coordinating participation in tradeshows and sales meetings.

Assembly Position

2nd Shift: M-TR 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, F 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Potential for OT on Saturdays depending on production backlog

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
– Preferred experience working in a sheet metal shop for at least 1 year
– Ability to be on feet throughout shift
– Capable of lifting up to 50 LBS
– Use tape measure to obtain accurate measurements
– Reliable transportation to and from work
– MUST work well with others in team environment

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
– Bilingual English, Spanish
– Plus: Experience with Press Brake, Shear, CNC or welding
– Plus: Ability to read shop drawings / product blueprints

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
– Assembly of products utilizing fasteners, bolts and rivets using power and pneumatic hand tools
– Using grinder to smooth welds on finished goods
– Moving materials (less than 50 LBS) between work stations
– Crating finished goods for shipment with pneumatic nail / staple guns
– Packaging product kits
– Other projects typical to a sheet metal fabrication shop as assigned by supervisor
