GrateSafe® Metal Roof Walkway also called roof walk or roof catwalk, provides safe access to rooftop equipment while protecting roof panels against damage from foot traffic. The system features 18 GA galvanized steel planks, pierced and punched for a sturdy, anti-skid surface. Planks are 12″ wide x 10′ long and interlock so walkways can be installed in various widths. In addition, optional OSHA-compliant handrails and toe kicks integrate seamlessly. S-5! clamps are used to attach the walkway to standing seam roofs with no penetrations. R-Panel walkways use custom supports with Fab-Lok Fasteners or self-drilling fasteners for a complete weather-tight seal. The GrateSafe® roof access walkway system ships all together and is compatible with any metal roof panel.
